Jazz in de Gracht – a Summer party on the water in The Hague!

Every year at the end of August, downtown The Hague turns into an atmospheric temple of music during the three-day festival Jazz in de Gracht. The festival takes place along several canals, such as the Bierkade, Dunne Bierkade, Groenewegje.

Live music floating on the canal gives a summer vibe. Food trucks line the shore and reserve a spot at one of the many waterfront restaurants.

This year’s festival is from Thursday, Aug. 28 to Saturday, Aug. 30.

Jazz in de Gracht Drink Boat

On the first day of the music festival, we will sail the boat past the musicians. Meanwhile, you can grab cold drinks such as beer/rosé/prosecco and soft drinks from the coolers. We will also have snacks/nuts on the tables.

Drink Boat Thursday 28 August

First night of the festival Thursday night, Aug. 28.
Start 8 p.m. at embarkation point Pax harbor (near C.S).
End at 9:45 pm at Jazz in de Gracht on the Dunne Bierkade.
Please note that this means we do not sail back to the embarkation point!
We will sail counter-clockwise to the festival. The first period of the cruise you can quietly enjoy the city and drinks and snacks on board.
Tickets are € 37.50 p.p.

Private boat rental during Jazz evening.

It is also possible to rent your own boat with skipper during Jazz in the canal nights.
Only for groups up to 10 people.
Price is € 300,- for 2 hours of sailing. Including welcome drink.
Bring your own drinks and snacks.
Boarding at the Pax harbor.
Disembark at the Bierkade, near the festival, or around the corner.
Time from 19.00 to 21.00.(Thursday & Friday evening)
Saturday from 20.30 to 22.30
